David Matamoros has a Law degree, graduated in Business & Marketing, and holds a MBA. He started 15 years ago in the music business but soon began his career in the film industry while living in New York.

He has developed and produced TV programs, animation, documentaries and feature films over the years and worked in the international arena. After working during 4 years in the public sector, he came back into the production while he was writing about cinema and teaching in ESCAC Film School. He has joined Zentropa in 2009.
